AIAB is an association of producers, technicians and citizens-consumers that has contributed to the production standards of Italian organic agriculture. AIAB represents the interests of organic producers, supports them in the technical and bureaucratic aspects and enhances their role; facilitates their access to the market; informs and trains consumers; trains and updates technicians in organic farming; is the subject of research because innovation is the characterizing element of an organic producer. Furthermore, AIAB promotes the realization of environmental and social sustainability and food sovereignty throughout the world through the organic farming model.
AMIBA (Associação dos Criadores de Bovinos de Raça Barrosã) is a Portuguese association that is engaged since 1990 in the preservation, genetic selection and breeding of several autochthonous breeds including cattle, sheep and poultry, as defined by the National Directorate-General for Food and Veterinary Medicine. In particular, the association is in charge of the management and preservation of all four Portuguese chicken breeds: Preta Lusitânica, Amarela, Branca and Pedrês Portuguesa. AMIBA’s role in the preservation of autochthonous breeds is of utmost importance to promote genetic biodiversity while preserving national breeds that are well adapted to the local production environmental and social conditions.
BEF Biosystems has expertise in the field of production of equipment for breeding insect larvae, in particular it provides a complete service for the setting up of production sites for the mass production of black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens) larvae. BEF Biosystems created an innovative technology that enables a unique circular process throughout Black Soldier Fly life cycle with the intention to generate a positive and measurable environmental impact alongside a financial return for all the stakeholders, such as farmers, biogas plants owners, waste producers, municipalities, feed and chemical industries.
BioForum Vlaanderen vzw Belgium is the sector organization for organic agriculture & food: farmers, processing companies, distributors, wholesale distribution, retail and food services. In addition, control organisations, research institutes and social organizations also belong to our sector. The functioning of BioForum can be summarized in 4 points: 1. Standing up for the interests of the organic sector; 2. Advice and support for organic entrepreneurs; 3. Incentives and support for market development and research; 4. Clear information for the general public.
Bio’Or offers a wide range of feedstuff for animals (cattle, poultry, pigs, horses, goats, sheep and rabbits) in organic production. All feedstuffs are certified by Certisys (BE-BIO-01). Bio’Or has a factory in Reningelst, which is entirely dedicated to the production of organic food. This excludes any contamination by unauthorized ingredients. The production meets GMP standards and the rules of organic farming. Bio’Or mission is to continue to improve ourselves based on and after consulting with the client. Bio’Or team give advice about aspects related to Nutritional, Rationing, Veterinarian services and Management and management of breeding.
Bugslife is an Italian startup that produces protein meals from the bio-conversion of agricultural by-products through insects. Particularly through Black Soldier Fly larvae (Hermetia illucens). BugsLife employs circular economy practices on an industrial scale to produce raw materials with high added value for the pet food market, such as hypoallergenic and low environmental impact insect protein meal. BugsLife is seeking funding to conceptualize the production methodologies and validate the production process of the designed complex production system on an industrial scale.
CCPB certifies organic and eco-sustainable products, agri-food and not, all over the world. Actually CCPB certifies 13,000 companies, of which about 12,000 in the organic sector, including established industrial groups, large retailers, small and medium-sized enterprises, emerging companies. To carry out all its activities, CCPB is in possession of all accreditations and authorizations. Among these we mention the authorization of the Italian Ministry for Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies to operate as a control and certification body in compliance with the European standard Reg CE 834/2007 on organic agriculture, and accreditation according to the UNI CEI EN / ISO / IEC 17065: 2012 and authorizations in the USA, Japan, Canada, Switzerland. CCPB is also a partner of IFOAM “International Federation of Organic Farming”, of EOCC (European Organic Certifiers Council) and Quavera.
Stefan D’Hulster is an organic poultry producer located in Watou (Belgium) and owner of “Hof ten Moenaerde” a small-scale organic farm with 5000 organic broilers. His animals have daily access to a large and rich pasture, where they can explore and show an even more natural behaviour than in the spacy barn, usually used for the night. In the same farm are reared some individuals of the local cattle breed, the West Flemish red, belonging to the livestock heritage of the region. Stefan is also the owner of a holiday home where tourists can enjoy the rural aspects of the farm!
FederBio is a leading Italian association, established in 1992 by the joint initiative of organizations operating in the organic and biodynamic farming sector with the aim of safeguarding and supporting its development. FederBio is a member of IFOAM and ACCREDIA, the Italian national organization responsible for the Accreditation of Control and Certification Bodies. FederBio represents the leading organic farming organizations, which carry out the various activities in the sectors of the interests of the professionals and technicians in the industry.

Ferrero Mangimi S.p.A. offers innovative products and services and is highly involved to ensure the best quality of raw materials, and environmental protection.
Geflügelhof gr. Macke, is a family-owned farm in the northwest of Germany. We focus on egg production, hatching eggs as well as consumption eggs from hens in mobile stables. Since 2019 we established scientific research as a new pillar of our farm. We connect universities, institutes and research groups with the agricultural sector. We also do that by running different EIP-AGRI Projects, such as “EVELIN” https://www.querfeldgroup.de/evelin. Nutrition Sciences N.V. is a Belgian private company well known for its R&D activities in the feed-food chain and spends much attention to the introduction of novel – mainly nutritional – technologies for its customers. Know how – generated by Nutrition Sciences N.V. in different kinds of research projects – is further promptly implemented and validated in Europe and beyond. Tedaldi srl is the first Italian company of free-range hens raised without the use of antibiotics, from the first day of life, certified by the CCPB, a certification and control body for food and non-food products. Tedaldi srl is also the first Italian company to produce eggs derived from organic and symbiotic agriculture, a system that further reduces the presence of nitrates in cereal and horticultural plants grown with this method.
